Accessibility

Please note that Corran House is a traditional Victorian building.

The property has spiral staircases over four floors, and there are steps at the entrance. Unfortunately there is no lift, stair lift or porterage available.
Guests with mobility difficulties may therefore find access challenging.

House Rules

  • Guests are expected to behave considerately and respectfully towards other guests and the property.
  • Corran House reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the premises if behaviour is considered inappropriate or disruptive.
  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere inside the building, in accordance with Scottish law.
  • A £150 cleaning charge will apply if this policy is breached.

Important Information

  • Check-in: From 3:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Late check-ins can be arranged by prior request.
  • Check-out: By 10:30am. Guests may leave earlier if preferred – simply leave the key at reception.

Parking

  • We do not have on-site parking. However, public council car parks are located on either side of Corran House. Parking is typically around £1 per hour between 9:00am and 6:00pm, with no charge overnight (6:00pm – 9:00am).
  • During the winter months the Corran Halls car park across the road is usually free. Please check local signage for current charges.

Breakfast

  • A self-service continental breakfast is available in our communal kitchen.
  • Options include tea and coffee, bread, eggs, cereal, porridge, breakfast bars, pastries, juice, milk, yoghurt, fruit and condiments, with gluten-free and vegan options available.
  • Breakfast can be paid for on the day using our honesty box system, with a list of prices displayed in the kitchen.
  • Alternatively, breakfast can be pre-paid for £6.50 per person, per day.
